During the Northern Song Dynasty, skilled swordsman Zhao Zhan saves Justice Bao Zhen’s life and earns a reward. However, the corrupt minister Ji Pang exploits Zhan’s name to provoke the legendary Five Mice of Xian Kong Island, led by Bai Yutang. Seeking revenge, the Five Mice travel to the capital but soon uncover Ji Pang’s treachery and decide to confront him first. When Justice Bao is framed and imprisoned, Zhan must defend the court alone. To defeat their common enemies, he needs the Five Mice’s help—but tensions rise as he and Yu Tang clash, both in battle and over the affections of the formidable swordswoman Ding Yue Hua.
